A simple message this afternoon on The Dublin Camogie Board’s website reads “Everyone in Dublin Camogie sends best wishes to new Dublin Senior Manager, David Herity.”
The five-time Senior All Ireland winner Kilkenny retired from inter-county hurling in November 2014. In the wake of his retirement, we asked one of the county’s finest shot-stoppers on board for Kittens To Cats last year…
A dual star, still representing Dunnamaggin in club hurling, Kilmoganny and Kilkenny in the football, Herity will be joined by Michael O’Grady, John Matthews and Sandra Tarr in overseeing Dublin’s senior camogie bid to dethrone 2016 All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the new year.
