Former Kilkenny hurler Eoin Larkin to take the reins at Ballinkillen Hurling Club in Carlow

The eight time All-Ireland winner will manage the side for next year's club campaigns

Former Kilkenny hurler Eoin Larkin is to take up senior management taking up a new role at a Carlow club.

The James Stephen’s man will take charge of Ballinkillen for next season.

The side were beaten in this years County final.

The eight time All-Ireland winner and former hurler of the year has coached at underage.

Eoin’s playing record speaks for itself winning eight All-Ireland titles and ten Leinsters during his 11 years with Kilkenny.

He was awarded All-Stars in 2008 and 2009, and was named hurler of the year in 2008.
