Former Kilkenny Senior Forward Eddie Keher says that the Limerick Senior Hurlers are a very level headed and well grounded outfit.

Speaking to KCLR after Limerick’s victory which saw them secure a first All-Ireland Senior title since 1973, Eddie says that Limerick never panicked under pressure especially in the Quarter-Final victory over Kilkenny.

“They are a lovely bunch of guys and certainly, Limerick people should be very proud of them the way they conducted themselves before and on the field and all through the Championship.

“They are a fantastic Team, very solid on the ground, they are never ruffled like, even under pressure and also against Kilkenny like when Kilkenny got the goal towards the end, it looked like a usual Kilkenny victory but they just calmly came back and flashed over the points, it’s a great achievement and I am really delighted for them,” he said.
