It’s been a crazy year for Formula One.
The season was meant to go ahead in Melbourne back in March but some members of the McLaren team were hit with the coronavirus, and organisers ended up cancelling the event before even free practice could take place.
After months of the world being locked down, Liberty Media managed to get a calendar together for the season and we’ve been able to return to tracks from the past the we thought might never see a formula one car again, such as Imola last weekend.
There’s lots going on, with the driver’s market in full flow, changes to team names and directions, engine suppliers pulling out and lots more.
Stephen Byrne spoke to Thomas Maher, the owner of formulaspy.com which is based in Carlow.
