Freebooters A are the Mock Lawlor Cup champions after a 5-0 win over Clover United yesterday in the final.

Freebooters have been scoring a lot of goals too as they got the better of their B team in the semi-finals, also with a 5-0 win.

They took a big scalp in the form of Evergreen A in the quarter-finals on their way to the trophy.

Billy Leahy cup

The Billy Leahy cup is heading for Evergreen after their B side beat Newpark A 3-1 to lift the cup.

Evergreen beat Callan United in the semi-finals on their way to the cup and got a bye in the quarter-finals.

Ken & Michael Byrne Cup Final

It’s a big night on Wednesday for Freebooters C and Castlewarren Celtic who go head to head in the Ken & Michael Byrne Cup Final.

The kick-off for that one is at 7 pm in Derdimus.

KCLR McCalmont Cup

And on Friday, it’s the KCLR MCCalmont Cup final where Newpark A and Evergreen A clash in that one with a 7 pm kick-off in Derdimus.

That game rounds off the season in Kilkenny.

Listen below to Freebooters C manager Seán Doyle on his side’s Divisional Cup final against Castlewarren Celtic on Wednesday.
