Freebooters FC manager David Butler says their ultimate goal is to win silverware.
The city side clashes with Deen Celtic at 11am on Sunday at the Fairgreen in Kilkenny in the KCLR McCalmont Cup Quarter-Final
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the game, David says they have made a lot of progress this season……
“At the moment it’s been I suppose you could call it successful enough as in progression wise towards the disappointment of last year, we are making some good progression so we are happy enough like so the goal now is to get a bit of silverware”
“We are doing well in the Leagues, so hopefully we can get over the line in that one and with the McCalmont Cup as well we are three games away from possibly winning that so that is going to be the goal now”
