2015 ended with a slight anti-climax for Glenmore as their Leinster Junior Club Hurling Final was pushed from early December out to the New Year but this Saturday they’ll find out if they’ll be progressing to the All-Ireland stages when they take on Lusmagh in O’Connor Park, Tullamore at 2pm.

KCLR will be there for every puck of the ball with live commentary and analysis from Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh. The game will be carried on both frequencies, online via KCLR96FM.com and through the Irish Radioplayer App, live from 2pm.

Ahead of the game, Michael O’Learly caught up with Glenmore’s Eoin Murphy.

Preparations for Glenmore have been disrupted by the recent bad weather, coupled with the change of fixture to this weekend – teammates on holidays, players spending time away at Christmas and the recent heavy rains in south Kilkenny haven’t done the side any favours.

But all that factored in, the 2015 Junior Hurling champions in Kilkenny will face a tough test on Saturday afternoon. Click play to hear what Murphy had to say on KCLR sport this week.
