Glenmore Intermediate Hurling manager Alan Aherne admits they got out of jail in Saturday’s drawn Intermediate Championship first round clash against St. Martins.

Speaking to KCLR after the game, Alan says they will be a different team for the replay.

“We got out of jail, Muckalee should have won that game, but we have another chance now.

“We just can’t wait to get going next week please god, that wasn’t Glenmore there today, we were four or five hurlers down.

“We will be a different team next week, there is wonderful character there.

“Muckalee were Senior last year, simple as that, they are not going to let this go easy, but they will have a fair fight on their hands next week,” he said.

The replay is Saturday at 4pm in Ballyhale
