One jockey helped another to avoid a serious injury today at racing in Gowran Park.

Jockey Bryan Cooper has been praised after helping Robbie Power during a fall in the 499 Novice Hurdle.

Gunnery Sergeant and Neverushacon fell at the fence on the second last hurdle and after the fall Robbie Powers foot got stuck in the stirrup however Bryan Cooper caught Robbies horse Neverushacon and released powers foot.

Great sportsmanship from Cooper.
