Gowran Park Racecourse is set to host two days of racing starting today, with the first race starting at 5:20 pm, followed by another day of racing on Tomorrow, beginning at 1:35 pm.

A complimentary Shuttle Bus service will depart from just above the gates of Kilkenny Castle, one hour before the first race. Park manager Eddie Scally gave KCLR Scorleine the lowdown on what to expect;

“It is a very exciting evening meeting in store for anyone that is coming to the track with two listed races today. The vintage tipple over one mile and six and of course the McCalmont Stakes over a mile and one.”

“The favourites for both races are by Kilkenny trainer Joseph O’Brien with Goldana in the
second of the listed races and Dancing Tango in the first. Joseph is expected to be at least leaving with one of the listed contests and maybe even
both.”
