The Askamore man is standby ref and linesman for the Senior Final
Paud said its a great honour to be chosen
He says “I’m just happy to be involved to be honest, we’re kind of hoping we’ll get the job in the middle alright but still very happy to be involved as standby”.
“When you start out the refereeing, this is the ultimate, to make it up to All Ireland Final day so it’s a great honour for myself, for my family, for the four umpires that generally travel around with me everywhere as well”.
He added “It’s a great honour for them too in that we’re all a team together and for me to be chosen is a sign that I have a good team behind me driving me on as well”.
