Kate Harrington is very happy with the preparation of one of their leading stable hopes Supasundae.
Kate is Assistant trainer to Jessica Harrington.
Supasundae is scheduled to line-up in Sunday’s Morgiana Hurdle in Punchestown.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s feature, Kate says that he will improve as the season goes on.
“He did two Grade 1s over two miles and we were kind of planning a three mile campaign with him.
“Like he was 2nd in a three mile Grade 1 at Christmas time and then 2nd at Cheltenham to Penhill and then he was also 2nd over two and a half miles at Aintree.
“He won at Punchestown then over two miles so you would have to say he is very versatile.
“We are very happy with him, he is a fit as we possibly can have him at this time of the year.
“We know he thrives on Racing, but at the end of last season he had three runs in the space of 6 weeks and he won his last won over two miles.
“He is a horse who is going to keep on improving through the season but he is as fit as we could have had him,” she said.
