Carlow & District Schoolboys Soccer League Chairman Peter Harvey says they have the squad to give Cork a good game in Sunday’s All-Ireland Under-15 Semi-Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Peter says they have taken some notable scalps along the way to Sunday’s Semi-Final.
“There was a Leinster Championship we played first. So we played against Wexford and NEC and DDSL in the Group stages and we came 2nd in the group and it just qualified us for a Leinster Semi-Final where we played North Dublin.
“They are the 2nd biggest league in the country and we beat them 6-2 in the Semi-Final.
“Cork won the Munster Championship but we believe that we have the squad there to go ahead and give them a good game and hopefully progress through to the final.
“Our lads are good enough to do it as they proved against DDSL so we are very hopeful on Sunday,” he said.
