Conahy Shamrocks Junior Hurling Selector Diarmuid Healy says that having a lot of young players within the squad can be an advantage ahead of today’s (Saturday’s) AIB Leinster Club Final showdown against Ballygarret Realt Na Mara.
Speaking to KCLR, Diarmuid says their is great determination within the squad having lost the County Junior Final to O’Loughlin Gaels.
He said “Sometimes this can be an advantage and they are very mature solid individuals, and I think they are determined like having lost the County Final and when we arrived back at the club the night of the County Final, there was a huge welcome for them so they feel they have an obligation to the supporters to come up trumps and make amends for that bring home the trophy on Saturday”.
