An extremely busy weekend of local GAA hits Kilkenny and Carlow over the next 2 days.
Starting with Hurling and A double header hits Nowlan Park tomorrow with the Kilkenny Senior Hurling League and Shield Finals down for decision.
The Shield Final sees Dicksboro up against Bennettsbridge at 1.45.
Then at 3.15 we have full commentary of James Stephens v O Loughlin Gaels in the League Final.
Elsewhere in the first round of the championship tomorrow evening – Erins Own and Carrickshock meet in Clara at 5pm.
While in the first round of the Intermediate championship tomorrow – Glenmore play St Martins in Ballyhale at 3 while Thomastown and Mooncoin square off in Mullinavat at 5.
Another double header hits Nowlan Park on Sunday as well where Graigue ballycallan and Lisdowney square off in the Intermediate shield Final at 11.45 and the League Final sees John Lockes against Tullaroan at 1.15
In the First round of the Intermediate Championship on Sunday Fenians play Tullogher Rosbercon at 3 in Bennettsbridge, while Castlecomer hosts St Lachtains and Young Irelands at 5.
Sundays Senior Championship first round contests sees Danesfort meeting Clara on the Kells Road at 12.30 with Mullinavat facing Rower Inistioge in Thomastown at 2.45.
And St Patricks Ballyragget meet Ballyhale Shamrocks at 5 in St Johns Park.
Its Semi Final weekend in terms of the top three tiers of Carlow Championship Football.
Tonight theres a double header at the Training Centre in Fenagh as Palatine play Fenagh at 8pm while St Patricks Tullow play Naomh Eoin at the earlier time of 7.30.
In Netwatch Cullen Park tomorrow we have Full Commentary of the Senior Semi Final between Mount Leinster Rangers and Eire Og at 6pm, while before that the intermediate semi final sees favourites O’Hanrahans up against Ballinabranna.
The Training centre in Fenagh hosts the relegation deciders in Carlow tomorrow.
Clonmore and Ballon do battle for Intermediate survival at 5.30 while at 7pm Old Leighlin and Kilbride meet in the senior relegation final.
