Bagenalstown Gaels will face Old Leighlin and Mount Leinster Rangers will take on Eire Og in this weekend’s quarter-finals. Palatine and Fenagh will face off in the relegation final.
Bagenalstown Gaels manager Eddie Scally says people were mistaken to write his team off after their second-round defeat to Tinryland.
“It was just really, really frustrating and, it can be awful hard and I know the lads, I said it to them after the game as well because it’s not right, it’s not good enough
for me to be getting too wound up over it either”
“It was just so frustrating because I felt we left it behind us and people kind of writing us off, I don’t think we should be written off, ever.”
