IT Carlow will be hoping to do the double today (Tuesday) and bring home the college’s men’s and women’s titles.
The Women’s Division Two final is first on the court from 12.30 pm in Oblate Hall in Dublin where IT Carlow takes on Waterford IT.
Carlow and Waterford faced off in the group stages and Carlow prevailed handsomely, but Waterford had fewer players available.
Along the way, Carlow had wins over Limerick IT, MTU Tralee, and Mary Immaculate while Waterford only lost one game.
Meanwhile the men’s division two final is on at 3 pm in the same venue and IT Carlow take on UCD in that one.
Carlow lost 59-56 to the Dubliners in their opening game of the group stages back in November.
After their opening loss, Carlow won all their games, including their walkover against Waterford IT.
The IT Carlow side is already in the National League play-offs, so they need to balance the squad for these matches.
