Team Kilkenny had a big win over Neptune in the Men Division One at the weekend.

100 points to 80 was the final score, the game was tight up to half time with Kilkenny going in 4 points up thanks to a 4 point play at the buzzer by Lukasz Szulc.

At the start of the 2nd half Kilkenny went through the gears and Neptune simply could not live with them.

The home team were converting on the break, dominating inside and shooting extremely well, in addition they started getting defensive stops which was most important.

Team Kilkenny are the only team in the league with a 100+ point average on their home court.
Next game up is this Friday 29th January against IT Carlow in a continuation of the abandoned game in December, tip-off at 8.30pm at The Watershed.

The score is Kilkenny 29 vs ITC 28 and game will start in 2nd quarter.

Meanwhile IT Carlow lost out to C&S Blue Demons 81 – 76 while the Women’s team lost to Fr Mathews 54 – 31.
