KCLR will be back on the sidelines this weekend for Kilkenny’s clash with Laois in Rathdowney
Both sides are coming off victories in The Walsh Cup last Sunday with Kilkenny getting the better of Offaly while Laois bested Wexford by two points.
Speaking ahead of the game, two-time All Ireland winner and KCLR analyst Michael Walsh is looking forward to seeing who can cement themselves in the Kilkenny side before the Shamrocks players come back into the fold;

“It is a means to an end, in the fact that it is getting game time into lads you have brought into the panel.”
“It will be interesting to see of those who play in the Walsh Cup how many will play further down the line. Particularly with the younger lads, it may take a bit of time.”
“For the likes of Shane Walsh and a few other lads, they have been around the team for the last couple of years, maybe a bit frustrated in not getting game time the last couple of years. This is where the opportunity may come their way now. They have a new manager, new management team, maybe different ideas, for them it is a massive opportunity.”
