James Stephens Secretary and Selector Niall Connolly says they have gained plenty of momentum since escaping the threat of relegation.
Speaking to KCLR after their County Senior Semi-Final over Ballyhale Shamrocks, Niall says they were confident they could produce the goods…..
“The second-half performance was absolutely excellent I felt. We had a feeling coming into it alright that we had a bit of momentum going with the Team”
“We seem to have from the St Martins game, seem to have a little bit of momentum going so we were going in reasonably confident anyway, although you can never know against the Shamrocks what way things will go but we were reasonably confident”
“Half-time I suppose yesterday we had a little bit of work to do. We probably had missed a couple of goalscoring chances in the first-half that might have colored things up a little bit differently, but certainly we put in an outstanding display in the 2nd half”
