Its back to League action this weekend in Kilkenny with a number of Round 2 games taking place.

James Stephens manager Niall Tyrrell says they need to learn from letting a comprehensive lead slip against Bennettsbridge in their first game.

They take on The Rower Inistioge on Saturday evening at 7pm in Thomastown.

Speaking to KCLR, Niall says that even though there will be missing key players to injury, there will be no excuses…….

“Yeah obviously it was disappointing you know to let a lead like that slip, it shouldn’t really happen, so were very dissappointed, we had a chat about it, all we can do now is learn from it going forward, there were a lot of positives from the game as well that we took out of the game.”

“Morale is very good, training has went well, so were happy going into Saturday night yeah.”

“I suppose quite a few lads are carrying knocks, Jackie Tyrrell, still not 100 percent, Luke Scanlon, but look we’ll have fifteen, its a chance for other lads to step, and em, yep you’ll hear no excuses from here.”
