James Stephens Junior Hurler Donal O’Keeffe says the young crop of players coming through are keeping the older lads on their toes.
Speaking to KCLR at last week’s Junior Hurling Championship launch, the Wexford native says the young players are training to a serious standard.
“Yeah, looking forward to it. We have trained hard now for the last couple of weeks so raring to go.
He said “We have a few new bodies, great crop of young fellows coming through in the village, really looking forward to the year, they keep us older lads on our toes the whole time like, they keep training up to a serious standard, a few faces, a few old faces all raring to go”.
