Fort Rangers Assistant Manager Jim Cashin says that Team player-Manager Jim Nugent played a vital role in helping the Team qualify for the KCLR McCalmont Cup Final.
Fort Rangers defeated Newpark in Sunday’s Semi-Final, and Jim says that he has been a wonderful servant to the game.
He said “He made two unbelievable saves that a man half his age would have been proud of, and they were both at 0-0. Jim is one of of my best mates, he is some man to keep going and this will probably be his last season and if it his, what better way for a man of his calibre to go out and play his best game maybe in a McCalmont Cup Final”.
