County Carlow Football Club are hosting a Gala Evening in April with special guests Irish Rugby Coach Joe Schmidt, Sean O Brien, Mike Ross, Alan Quinlan.

Thomas Daly, Fiona Coghlan, Sophie Spence, Maz Reilly, Edward Byrne, Bryan Byrne have also been added to the list.

The evening is a big fundraiser to go towards new flood lights for their training pitches in Oak Park.

The main pitch is floodlit however the lights on the training pitches at the back are very low power and the poles holding them up have been there since the 1960’s and are in bad repair.

This special event will be held on Saturday the 9th April in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Carlow where you can get an insight into leadership in Irish rugby and hear from players too.

Tickets are on sale for the event.
