John Lockes Callan Joint manager Stuart Donovan says that Centre-Back Owen McGrath has been a key figure to their success in recent weeks that saw them win the Intermediate League Final on Sunday with victory over Tullaroan.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s game, Stuart says that Owen has been playing like a proper No.6
“He has been massive for us the last couple of games.
“When he gets the ball he gives our forwards a great chance he puts it into the areas that we want them to put in.
“His defending is tenacious, but everything he does is working for us at the moment and for the team,” he said.
