Kilkenny and Carlow will be represented at this years Olympics in Tokyo

Carlows Sam Watson & Marcus Lawler & Kilkennys Clionna Manning have been officailly selected to be apart of Team Ireland.

Local involvement at this years Olympics in Tokyo has been boosted further.

Sprinters Marcus Lawler from Carlow & Kilkennys Clionna Manning have been officially selected to be apart of Team Ireland.

Marcus will running the 200m sprint and Clionna contesting for a place on the Mixed 4 x 400m Relay team. Both events will occur on the second week of the games which runs from Friday 30 July to Sunday 8 August.

Sam Watson from Carlow also competes on the equestrian front.
