Kilkenny Senior Camogie manager Ann Downey says they won’t get away with giving Galway a good start in Saturday’s All-Ireland Senior Semi-Final encounter.

Speaking to KCLR, Ann says they will have to be at their best if they are to make it back to an All-Ireland Final.

“We know that we have to step up to the mark now.

“It’s a different game, different venue, probably a different team, they will have a few changes I would imagine and they are a great side.

“They got a great start against us in Nowlan Park, and we were blessed that we were able to claw that back and go back in at half-time two points up.

“We are going to have to be on our best, if we don’t we are going to be out, it will be a big task and a big ask.

“There’s a great prize at the end of the day and both teams want to win,” Ann said.
