Kilkenny, Carlow and Tullow Rugby Clubs await fate as Provincial Towns Cup draw takes place

The draws for the 2022 Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Metropolitan Cup and Provincial Towns Cup competitions takes place this evening (Wednesday).

The ties in the seconds Provincial Towns Cup draw will also be announced.

The draw will be broadcast live from Leinster Rugby HQ on both the Leinster Rugby Facebook and Youtube accounts, and can also be found on the Bank of Ireland Facebook and YouTube accounts from 6 pm.

Tullow was the last local side to win the competition in 2017 beating Skerries in the final in Athy.

Carlow has a huge history in the competition and still has the record for most wins with 12, followed by Skerries with 11.

Kilkenny has won it five times and Tullow once.
