The KCLR McCalmont Cup continues the first round of games this weekend after the bulk going ahead last week in Kilkenny. While Carlow have their own cup competitions going in the form of the Douglas Jewellers Carlow Cup.
The league re-takes focus though between both counties though with no outside competitions being contested after New Oak Boys and Evergreen advanced in the LFA Cup last weekend.
