Lots of action to take in this weekend across multiple different sports. Football replays in Carlow, Junior, intermediate, and senior championship hurling in Kilkenny. It can be hard to choose where to be (Especially if you are a Dicksboro fan, Junior Hurling Championship Semi-Final on at 12 in Nowlan with a U15 A Hurling Championship Semi-Final in Kilmacow at 11.)
However, if you are a fan of local soccer, (and I say soccer so as to differentiate it from our national sport), you have plenty of grounds to hop around to. Especially if a Carlow supporter, with games on all three days of the weekend. The excitement though in Kilkenny is real with the first fixtures of the Woman’s St Canices Credit Union League, 10 teams in total have joined with some familiar Carlow names involved also.
