Kilkenny GAA stalwart Denis ‘Rackard’ Cody says that Kilkenny have had a great bunch of players over the last number of years.

Speaking to KCLR, Rackard says that Kilkenny might never see the likes of those players in the last 17 years again, but reckons that Kilkenny could still have won the All Ireland this year had they got past Waterford.

Meanwhile Former Kilkenny Hurler JJ Delaney says that he is looking forward to what will be a huge game between Kilkenny and Limerick in tomorrows All Ireland Final.

Speaking to KCLR, JJ says that it would be great for the county of Kilkenny in terms of bolstering the squad over the next few years.

“I’m looking forward to a huge game and I’d like to wish the lads all the best.

“It would be great for Kilkenny as a county to win the under 21 especially this year for the players to come on for Senior over the next couple of years,” he said.
