Kilkenny & District League Soccer Manager John MacClean is hopeful that the injury situation within their squad will clear so they will have a fully fit squad for whenever their Oscar Traynor Semi-Final clash is to be played.

Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s 6-1 trouncing of the Desmond League in the Quarter-Final, John says the break between Quarter-Final and Semi-Final clashes will give them a chance to have a full bill of health.

He said “We don’t know when we will play the Semi-Final, but hopefully a couple of the bigger players and that over the next couple of weeks don’t get any major injuries or knocks and have a full bill of health the next day so look we have to wait on the draw to see who we get, so hopefully all going forward”
