Kilkenny duo re-sign for Wexford Youths

Kilkenny duo Graham Doyle and Conor English (Goresbridge) have re-signed for last SSE Airtricity First Division champions Wexford Youths.

The pair can look forward to mixing it up with Premier Division champions Dundalk, St. Patrick’s Athletic and Bohemians next season.

Wexford Youths Daniel Furlong finished top of the First Division scoring charts this past season with over 30 goals to his name while Dundalk will be without the services of Premier Division top scorer Richie Towell who has jumped ship to the Football League.

Club captain Doyle and English join striker Danny Furlong, Craig McCabe, Ryan Delaney, Peter Higgins and Andy Mulligan who’ve all taken up new ccontracts with Wexford Youths.

Manager Shane Keegan says “The players that we’ve re-signed so far all played major roles in our success last season and are players I feel can continue to make a major contribution going forward.”
