Kilkenny GAA have urged supporters hoping to attend tomorrow’s Walsh Cup opener with Laois to purchase their tickets in advance.
Brian Cody’s side begin their 2022 season with a home clash against their neighbours on Sunday in John Locke Park at 2pm and entry to the game is strictly by ticket only.
Attendance at the game is limited due to the current public health guidelines in place on outdoor sporting events.
If anyone is struggling to buy their ticket before the game they should contact their club who will have an officer availavable to assist.
The same protocols will be in place for all of Kilkenny’s Walsh Cup and National Hurling League games this year as well as the All-Ireland semi-finals involving Mooncoin and Ballyhale Shamrocks.
