Former Kilkenny Senior goalkeeper Richie O’Neill says that Kilkenny’s overall goal threat will be the difference in tomorrow evening’s replay against Waterford.

Speaking to KCLR, Richie says that opposition teams need to stop Kilkenny’s goal threat if they are to have a chance of winning……

“Any team that wants to beat Kilkenny really has to stop them getting goals and I think the last time that has happened was Cork back in 2013”

“They stopped Kilkenny getting a goal that day in Thurles and they were able to outscore Kilkenny then so I think any team who has a hope of beating Kilkenny needs to stop the threat of goals and it’s not almost impossible”

“Kilkenny seem to make goal chances out of nothing like they did last Sunday. I think if they get a goal or two, I don’t think they are to concede too many goals Kilkenny. If they can get a goal or two, they will get over the line”
