Kilkenny Intermediate forward Sophie O’Dwyer believes that the team has become stronger as the season has gone on.
Speaking after Kilkenny’s 0-13 to 0-09 victory against Meath on Saturday as John Scott’s side booked their place in next month’s final against Antrim, O’Dwyer said that the panel is now looking forward to the decider in Croke Park.
“We’ve just come together as a team, we’re a unit now, and literally every game I feel we’ve been improving every time,” said Sophie.
“It was just unbelievable to get over the line today and looking forward to the final now” he added.
The Intermediate final against Antrim is set for Sunday the 12th of September.
