Kilkenny legend Anne Dalton has retired from intercounty camogie.

She leaves the county set-up only a month after winning her second All-Ireland senior title.

The St.Lachtains club member won player of the year awards in 2009 and 2018

Anne could have had more All Ireland medals but unfortunately was part of the sides who lost out in six deciders.

She also had success with St Lachtains, winning the first of three All-Ireland club senior titles with them when she was 16, and at minor level she also won at All-Ireland.

Add to that three Ashbourne Cups with Waterford IT in 2009, ’10 and ’11.
