Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager Anne Downey says that Team Trainer Brian Dowling has brought about a much needed calmness to the set-up.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) All-Ireland Final against Galway, Anne says its a more enjoyable set-up since Brian has come in.
She said “With Brian I suppose I have said it all year, it’s calmness and a belief in themselves that Brian has brought, I suppose I was myself when I was playing or even on the line, I was a little bit hot under the collar and now I am relaxed”.
“I am enjoying it so are the girls and I think that’s really the one thing and not to talk of the skill level that he has brought to them, the running off their shoulder, the work that he has done, the amount of hurling coaching that he has put into the girls is unbelievable”.
