Kilkenny Minor Hurling Manager Richie Mulrooney says their priority for tomorrow’s (Sunday) All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash against Galway will be to give it their absolute best and worry about the consequences afterwards.
Following victory over Clare last Saturday, another win tomorrow will guarantee them an All-Ireland Semi-Final place, and speaking to KCLR, Richie is expecting a close battle.
He said “Because we expect this to be a very difficult match and a very tight match, it could come down to anything”.
“It could come down towards winning, it could come down towards drawing, it could come towards making sure that we are right in the game and that we were beaten by a point or two that we would be ok on scoring difference so I think the message that were going to be trying to get across is that we just go out and hurl our absolute best for 60 minutes and when the final whistle blows, we will look up and see what the situation is”.
