Kilkenny Minor Hurling Manager Richie Mulrooney says there’s no pressure on Offaly when the sides meet in todays Championship game.

Richie says the midlanders are through to a quarter final regardless so they’ll hurl without any nerves.

Tristan Roche misses the game for Kilkenny after picking up a card in their game against Wexford.

Richie says Offaly will use thie game as practise for their Quarter Final.

Kilkenny are in action against Offaly at 4.45pm in Nowlan Park.

He told KCLR Sport “Offaly’s scoreline against Wexford a fortnight ago shows that they re as good as any of us on a given day”.

“They’re going to finish bottom of the group regardless of the result and they’ll be going into a Leinster quarter final, so they’ll be really using the game as preparation for the quarter final, and there will be no pressure on them and I’m sure they’re going to give us a massive test and we will have to be ready for it”.
