Kilkenny Minor Hurling Manager Richie Mulrooney says that the squad would have no problem playing the match at anytime of the day despite the very start to tomorrow’s match against Wexford.
The Leinster Minor Final throws-in at 11.30am tomorrow (Sunday) morning, and speaking to KCLR, Richie says the squad are just excited about getting to play in Croke Park regardless of the throw-in time.
He said “It would be hard to expect people to go to Croke Park for a half eleven match and to be still there for a 4 o’clock match if you haven’t got that much interest in the match in between, but on the other side of it, for the lads and they are all either 16 or 17 and some lads haven’t even reached their 16th birthday yet, to get a chance to play in Croke Park in a Leinster Final I would say they would play at any hour of the day”.
