Over the past month, Kilkenny and Carlow have opened their homes and hearts to welcome Ukrainian refugees feeling their home country following the invasion of Russia.
We’ve seen offers of accommodation, offers of employment and now Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership are hoping that you can assist with physical activities.
KRSP are coordinating an effort to make recreation and physical activity available to refugees from Ukraine.
“If your sports facility, sports club, dance class, gym class, walking group, outdoor recreation facility/provider can held (waiving fees, providing a free class, equipment, activities, games, anything), we would like to hear from you.”
Kilkenny Sports & Recreation Partnership will then link all activities with the groups as they arrive.
