Kilkenny Rugby Club Head Coach Packie Hennebry says they need to get some sort of result against Leinster League leaders Malahide in Saturday’s Division 1A League clash.

Speaking to KCLR, Packie is happy with how the season has gone…..

“We had a great home win against Monkstown in the first Leinster League game, bit of a blip the following two weeks”

“We were beaten by Dundalk and beaten by Enniscorthy, comprehensively by both teams and we just had to sit the boys down again and just go back to square one and we had a great win last week against Gorey which puts us back up the table a good bit”

“So like we have two wins from 4 games, we probably would have taken it at the start of the season, with injuries and fellows not coming back fully fit yet, like we would have to be happy enough with where we are but we need to go to Malahide on Sunday and get something out of the game, hopefully a win would be great”

Here’s a look at the current table for Div1A….
