Kilkenny send six goals past Offaly to book their League Semi Final with Clare

Kilkenny will meet Clare in the semi finals of the National Hurling League after an emphatic victory over Offaly on Sunday.

The cats stole into a 15 point first half lead and eventually won out by 6-20 to 14 points

The win could come at a cost though as the Fennelly brothers Colin and Michael both limped off with hamstring twinges, Robert Lennon and Paul Murphy also left the field.

Colin Fennelly and Robert Lennon both netted in the first half with Liam Blanchfield, John Power and Lester Ryan also raising the green flag during the course of the game.

Offaly trailed Kilkenny 2-11 to 0-5 at the break but Kilkenny pushed on for the 24 point win.

Kilkenny will play Clare on Sunday April 17th with a time and venue TBC.
