Kilkenny & District League joint manager Jim Cashin thinks that concentration levels will be higher in Sunday’s Oscar Traynor clash away to the Dublin AUL League.
Kilkenny defeated Wicklow 6-2 at home in their opening clash, and speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s game, Jim says allowances in their first game should be made for what was their first outing together.
“I wouldn’t blame the boys it was just a lapse and to be fair, it was the first game and it was the first outing and it was the first time that we got together as well.
“A couple of the boys were very new to the scene so there is no blame apportioned, it was just a switch-off.
“I know our lads will have learned from that because if you switch off up in the AUL in Dublin for two minutes or 5 minutes well then you are in big trouble so I wouldn’t expect that to happen again,” he said.
