Graiguenamanagh Soccer player Dean Broaders is optimistic about Ireland’s prospects of reaching the knockout stages of the Euros.
Dean plays for Waterford United and represented Ireland in the World University Games in South Korea last Summer, and he told KCLR “The way it is” show last night, the performances of the other three teams in the group give the Irish hope going forward…..
“It does definitely yeah. On paper I think, everybody is saying the same thing, Belgium they look like one of the best teams in it”
“Even what they had to bring off the bench. They are a top side like, it definitely gives us hope and even looking towards the Italy game, Italy were not in fantastic gear (v Belgium) so definitely its positive, you have to look at it in a positive way like the football we played”
“If we played like the way we did against Sweden from the start it’s definitely looking good for us at the minute”
