If it’s good enough for Conor McGregor, it’s good enough for Kilkenny Storm.

Five members of the Kilkenny Storm Ice & Inline hockey team jetted off to Iceland earlier in the week to represent Ireland over the course of three games at U14 level. After a successful trip to the US earlier in the year, the team are certainly getting accustomed to clocking up the airmiles along with the international victories.

Alec, Zack, David, Matthew and Patrick all feature and with ‘The Saints’ taking on Björninn last night, the Kilkenny representatives couldn’t be any happier, chalking up seven of Ireland’s nine goals with Matthew knocking in two and Patrick Fitzgerald chalking up five off his own back.

The Saints have two more games to come, one today and the third and final game on Saturday.
