Supporters of Kilkenny United WFC will be hoping that the coaching carousel can stop spinning with the appointment of new manager Casey McQuillan to the local women’s side.
The club have been without a manager for a number of weeks following the mid-season departure of Pedro Rodrigues and currently sitting bottom of the Womens National League, McQuillan has been welcomed into the United fold.
The announcement was made on Facebook on Tuesday night.
McQuillan departs the Shelbourne underage setup to take the role with Kilkenny United.
McQuillan’s first test comes this weekend as Kilkenny host UCD Waves in United Park, Thomastown with a 2pm kick off.
