Kilkenny v Wexford is live on KCLR this Saturday evening.
This year’s Leinster Senior Hurling Championship is almost a done deal. Kilkenny’s defeat at the hands of Galway put the Tribesmen into this year’s provincial final. Offaly, without a win to their name, are already relegated. Dublin, with a sole win, are out of the race.
So, that puts the pressure – and all eyes – on Kilkenny and Wexford.
With the two sides having played out great games already this year, including the Cats 1-27 to 2-15 win in the League semi-final, it’s sure to be a thriller. A win for Kilkenny means a place in the final against Galway on 1 July. A win for Wexford, the same. However, if the sides play out a drawn game, finishing level on points, it would be Wexford who’ll advance with the better scoring difference.
