Kilkenny’s Lucy Coogan part of Ireland U18’s in European Basketball Challengers

Ireland is seeded in group B of the competition, alongside Lithuania, hosts Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, and Serbia.

Kilkenny’s Lucy Coogan is in the Czech Republic with Ireland’s under 18 basketball team who get their European Challengers campaign off to a start today.

Ireland is seeded in group B of the competition, alongside Lithuania, hosts Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, and Serbia.

The competition begins today (Tuesday 27th July), and continues until Sunday 1st August.

Throughout this week, Ireland will face each of the other teams in the group, with a rest day on Friday 30th July.
